Kazak Dawn

With the brilliance of dawn light shining through a rich cobalt background, the Kazak Dawn is bordered with pure ivory edges and intricate decorative patterns that have been rendered with geometric elements. This rug is based on the timeless and iconic style of Kazak weaving tradition, where the patterns are derived from the tribal designs that have been seen for years in the Caucasus and Central Asia. The rug was created entirely by hand and took nine months to be completed in Aqcha, Afghanistan, using hand-spun wool and natural dyes.
