Ersari Mist

Ersari Mist is created on a soft slate-blue background, where shapes and symbols form into geometric tribal designs like a gathering of faded icons. The harmonious colors such as muted garnet, deep indigo, olive, and sand create an elegant rhythmic pattern, whereas the open design ensures that the pattern is clearly visible without overwhelming the viewer. The tonal variations in the rug make it look worn out, but with its calming effect and not a very contrasting design.

Inspirational to the traditions of weaving in Ersari tribes from Central Asia, the design features both strong geometrics and an atmospheric color palette. It is hand knotted in Aqcha, Afghanistan using hand spun wool for its creation in a period of 8 and a half months. Natural dyes provide additional richness and texture to the rug with its unique matte texture.

It blends perfectly in the contemporary interiors featuring understated elements, linen, oak wood, and stones.
