The Khorjin Zafir rug harmoniously blends deep blue sapphire, old garnet, mellow tobacco, and worn turquoise colors to create an elegant and rhythmical design that is at the same time quite substantial. Fines vertical stripes flow freely on the field with an elegance typical for woven textiles that were accumulated through many years, whereas large geometric elements provide structural support to the whole pattern.
Designed under the influence of old Khorjin weavings (tribal saddlebags), this rug takes the original idea and turns it into something more sophisticated. The handmade Afghan rug is created in Aqcha and features only the highest quality wool and organic colors.
Due to its balanced composition and rich color palette, the rug is perfect for layered interiors that involve wooden materials, linen fabric, and other collected items.
